The Lost Seedling | Moral story | English story | Short story | Hindi story

Once upon a time, in a lush green village nestled amidst the rolling hills of India, there lived a kind and elderly farmer named Panditji. He was known for his wisdom and love for nature. Panditji spent his days tending to his bountiful fields and caring for all living beings with utmost compassion. His heart would fill with joy seeing the crops grow and the animals flourish under his care. One monsoon, as the rains poured down, the village rejoiced, for they knew it would bring prosperity and abundance. During the rainy season, Panditji would always set aside a special day to plant seeds that he had collected over the years. These seeds held a magical legacy; they were passed down through generations and were believed to bring good fortune and happiness to those who nurtured them. On this particular day, as the raindrops danced merrily, Panditji set out to plant the precious seeds. But as he was walking towards the field, he noticed a group of playful children running and giggling thr...

The Curious Cloud

Once upon a time in a quaint little town in the USA, there lived a curious cloud named Oliver. Unlike other clouds, Oliver was not content to simply drift lazily across the sky, sprinkling raindrops here and there. He yearned to explore the world below and understand the people and creatures that lived there.

One sunny morning, while all the other clouds were busy doing their usual routines, Oliver decided to descend to the earth and find a way to interact with the world below. He gently floated down, careful not to disrupt anyone's day, and settled on the outskirts of the town.

As he observed the children playing in the park, Oliver couldn't help but feel a sense of joy and wonder. He watched them share toys, laugh, and work together to build a sandcastle. But as the day went on, he also noticed some children being unkind to each other. There was Timmy, who was teased for being different, and Sarah, who was left out of games because she was new to the town.

Oliver's heart ached for the children who were hurting. He wanted to make a difference, but how could a cloud help?

The next day, Oliver returned to the park with an idea. He transformed himself into a giant shade, casting a cooling shadow over the children as they played. Everyone appreciated the relief from the summer heat, and soon, Timmy and Sarah found themselves playing together under the comforting shade. The cloud's presence had brought them closer.

Encouraged by this small success, Oliver continued to visit the park every day, using his cloud abilities to create beautiful rainbows after a gentle rain and painting the sky with breathtaking colors during sunsets. He became the children's friend from above, brightening their days and teaching them to appreciate the beauty of nature.

As time passed, the children learned a valuable lesson from Oliver. They realized that even though someone might seem different, they still have the power to bring joy and kindness to others. They understood that it's important to be accepting and supportive, just like Oliver, who was always there for them in his own unique way.

The curious cloud's actions inspired not only the children but also the adults in the town. They started looking out for each other, fostering a sense of unity and empathy within the community.

And so, the town's curious cloud, Oliver, taught everyone the importance of spreading kindness, embracing differences, and appreciating the beauty in the world around them. From that day on, the town became known for its warmth, compassion, and the belief that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference in someone's life.

The moral of the story is: "Even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference."
